To celebrate David O. McKay's 150th birthday, the McKay School of Education threw a birthday party to honor its namesake and congratulate students on finishing the first week of school.
Hundreds of students were given doughnuts, candy, and stickers as they stopped by the greeting tables in the Kimball Quad next to the McKay Building.
All were encouraged to take a picture with David O. McKay, the McKay School Y, and participate in a quick quiz about his life via Instagram.
